We are behind again....

Last weekend we went off to a couple of friends wedding in northern Connecticut. It was one of the best weddings we have ever been to. Here are the bride and groom with the beautiful backdrop.
After the ceremony the kiddos played really well together. Here are the boys and Lindsey.
And Shelby and Ally came to join the group.

Here is a picture of Everett who was pretty smitten with Shelby. In the background you can see Donna, Shelby's Little sister being held by her mom.

The bride and groom enjoying their dance.

Congratulations Catharine and Colorado! Enjoy the honeymoon!
And here are a few pictures of Delilah who is growing up fast. When we first got her she could scoot under the island without a problem. Now it takes some wiggling, but she gets it done.

shhhh...shes hiding.

The wedding seems to have pooped the little one out. He fell asleep during his favorite activity...eating.

Here Everett is trying to imitate Daddy. He actually put this outfit on himself. He said he wanted to go work on the house (maybe followed by a little rendition of YMCA).

And this weekend we went down to Annapolis and Washington D.C. to visit some family. Here is Jack on the metro, riding like a big boy.

We went into D.C. to spend some time with Caroline who flew in for a conference (with her parents who I did not take a picture of). Here we are in front of the Washington Monument.
It tired poor Caroline out to be around such crazy little boys, but she found a pretty comfy spot to sleep.

Here are the kiddos in their hotel room party.

Jack and Caroline had a few too many milk shooters and got a little crazy.

And even smooched.

But every time we get together with the Venns, a stroller pays the ultimate price. Our latest one didn't make it off the metro.

After our trip to the city, we relaxed the next day with some painkillers at Pussers outlet in Annapolis with Clint's parents.

Jack really got in the Caribbean frame of mind.

And here is one of my favorite gifts from Clare. Thanks Clare, I love it!!

Thanks to the fam for having us! We had a blast and hope to see you all again soon, especially our beautiful little nieces (sorry adults, but you just cant compete).

60 years!

Well we havent been very good about posting lately, so I thought we should catch up a bit. Memorial day was a few weeks ago and it was a pretty good day for us Millers. We started off with a parade

It wore the little one out pretty good, but he got a sweet bed while mommy and daddy stayed up late (past 9).

Here is a cute one of Ev who found a frog in the back yard.

And here is a cute picture of the family outing to the Essex steam train. Ev had a blast riding it. We even sat in the same seat Harrison Ford did in the latest Indiana Jones movie.

And here is a cute piture of Jack after his big trip to Texas. Seems he liked it there.

So this past weekend (the fourth of July) we took a road trip to Ohio/Indiana to visit with Clint's grand-parents and celebrate a 60th wedding anniversary. 60 years!! We had to make quite a few stops along the way. In this stop we ran across the world's largest crayon at the crayola factory.

We had a great time staying with Aunt Danielle and Uncle Ed. Here is a great shot of them with the boys. And congrats to them on their recent engagement!

A good shot of Grandma and Pappa Miller

The two Jacks. Great Pappa Jack and little Jack Jack.

Great Grandma and Jack.

And here are a few shots of the 60th wedding anniversary celebration. We forgot the camera in the car for most of it, so we will have to update the pictures when we get copies of everyone elses pictures. Here is some sprinkler fun with all the cousins.
Pappa and Everett in a moment of calm
Some awesome entertainment by some more cousins (a lot of cousins were there)
And on the way home Jack threw an epic temper tantrum 3 hours into a 12 hour drive, so we had to get out of the car and find some stuff to do. We stumbled on a greyhound track and watched Delilah's cousins race around a few times. We made it home a 4am and spent a quiet day at home recovering. Tonight they got a bath in their new crayola bath coloring and went to bed pretty easily. We just went to check on them and Jack had ripped off his diaper and was sleeping splayed out in the buff....priceless. Everett kept asking to go back to his special place and play with his cousins and great pappa and great grandma Miller, so we will have to make another trip soon.
Thanks to all the Millers for having us and happy anniversary.
